Polish historians have lost documents about "Katyn case"
Staff of the Polish Institute National Memory can not find documents about the Katyn events, they have received from Russian archives in 1992. Loss of these papers from the archives of IEF officially confirmed the head of the Investigations Division of the Institute Dariusz Gabrel, speaking before the Polish Sejm. This is an officially certified Russian party copies of documents relating to the execution of Polish officers in Katyn Forest near Smolensk. These documents were handed over to the then Polish President Lech Walesa.
the first time the disappearance of the documents was seen two years ago, but then the INP staff felt that forwarded these paper in the office of President of Poland. Later, it became clear that for them there either. This is not the first time in Poland from the archives of IEF missing documents related with "Katyn affair". ITAR-TASS
